Virtual Mental Health Assembly featuring representatives from Dodgers, Disney, Maywood City Council, Our Congressman, LAUSD School Mental Health, Students, and Staff.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission for 2023-2024 is to promote mental health awareness through the use of public service announcements (PSA's). We hope to reach as many people through our school, community, city, state, and our district. Join us in spreading the word by creating one.

GOALS
- Encourage MaCES Students and Groups to Enter the Directing Change Video Contest.
- Champion a City Proclamation Declaring May is Mental Health Awareness Month
- Meet with LAUSD Representatives to Produce Training Videos for the District
- Produce a Virtual Mental Health Assembly to be shown to the school, families, and community
- Host a Lunch Assembly to Promote Mental Health Awareness
- Reach Over 50,000 People with Our Message

GirlsBuild is an organization that challenges youth across the country to make an impact in their community. They believe young women will define the vision for what schools, communities, and country can be. At MaCES a group of young leaders have taken the challenge to make a difference by promoting Mental Health Awareness.
